- Manage the variation process, pass-through costs and revenue in line with the contract.
- Oversee purchase orders, quarterly client POs, invoicing and monthly claims.
- Turn financial information into clear insights and practical recommendations for the business and the client.
- Identify and implement improvements to finance processes and internal controls.
- Act as the key contact for the client's accounting matters, including client meetings.
- Support internal and external audits and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Work closely with the Account Director, Contract Performance Manager and operations team on budgets and expenditure.
- Support and develop one direct report.
Education, Experience & Skills
Essential:
- CA or CPA qualified, with tertiary qualifications in business, accounting or finance.
- At least 5 years' experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Experience in facilities management, property or corporate real estate environments.
- Strong commercial thinking, with the ability to interpret data and turn it into recommendations.
- Advanced Excel and Word skills.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and standards.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with clients and internal teams.
- Experience working within QA, WHS and environmental systems.
Desirable:
- Experience with CMMS platforms.
- Experience in integrated property, facilities, project and financial management services.
- Experience in aviation or other complex operational environments.
Workplace Flexibility
This position is based on-site at Mascot, close to public transport with free onsite parking. Following probation, you'll enjoy a hybrid arrangement of three days on-site and two days working from home, during core business hours.
