The posting

It began with a vision to bring the time-honored flavors and healthy ingredients of South Korea to Columbus, Ohio. From that dream, BIBIBOP was born. Inspired by the traditional Korean dish bibimbap, we sought to make balanced and healthy Asian cuisine accessible and enjoyable to everyone. Catering Ambassador

Position Objective

BIBIBOP is seeking a Catering Ambassador to support our Catering Manager with flawless event execution.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with current guests and partners
  • Manage catering events start to finish — delivery, setup, service, and breakdown
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date logs of current and upcoming catering orders
  • Support store teams with all aspects of catering execution

Schedule

  • Full-time Monday – Friday position with flexibility required for early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends based on event bookings
  • Core weekday hours to support offsite operations, account management, order logistics and home store location
  • Schedule will fluctuate with catering volume and seasonal demand

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Relevant experience in restaurant, catering, or operations
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with use of both company and personal vehicle, mileage reimbursement with use of personal vehicle
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs and stand for extended periods of time

Equipment

  • Monthly cell phone allowance and company laptop provided to complete all work tasks

What success looks like in this role

  • Strong organizational skills – Attention to detail with the ability to navigate competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Orders are extensive, with includes correct product labeling, highlighting food allergies across multiple different food combinations
  • Communication – Clear and concise communication with all levels of team members, guests and catering clients with a focus on building strong community relationships
  • Dedication & Development – Ability to elevate overall client catering experience while carving out your own potential career path
