Hoe zorg je ervoor dat internationale goederen zo slim mogelijk door onze keten bewegen? Tijdens deze stage onderzoek jij hoe we onze internationale goederenstroom efficiënter kunnen inrichten en onnodige logistieke handelingen kunnen verminderen.

Bidfood is dé online groothandel voor horeca en foodservice. Een deel van ons assortiment wordt internationaal ingekocht en komt via externe logistieke partners ons distributienetwerk binnen. En precies daar ligt jouw uitdaging.

Zo ziet jouw stage eruit

Internationaal ingekochte producten komen nu via een logistieke partner binnen bij ons centrale distributiecentrum. Daar worden pallets deels opnieuw opgebouwd voordat producten verder worden verdeeld over onze locaties.

Jij onderzoekt of dit slimmer kan. Wat gebeurt er als producten al eerder anders worden verzameld of verdeeld? En wat betekent dat voor handling, transport, kosten en leverbetrouwbaarheid?

Wat ga je concreet doen?

  • Je brengt de huidige internationale goederenstroom in kaart
  • Je analyseert waar onnodige logistieke handelingen plaatsvinden
  • Je onderzoekt verschillende manieren om de goederenstroom slimmer in te richten
  • Je kijkt naar de gevolgen voor transport, kosten en leverbetrouwbaarheid
  • Je schakelt met collega’s binnen Supply Chain en externe logistieke partners
