Meteen duidelijk Als Hoofd Transport bepaal jij de transportstrategie voor onze vestiging in Amsterdam en ben je onderdeel van het MT. Je richt je op de lange termijn, procesoptimalisatie en de verdere transitie naar zero-emissie, terwijl je de leidinggevenden coacht om de operatie soepel te laten draaien.

Goed geregeld

  • Salaris: Een bruto maandsalaris tussen de € 4.500,- en € 6.200,- (o.b.v. 40 uur) afhankelijk van je ervaring.
  • 13x salaris: We betalen elke 4 weken uit, dus je ontvangt 13 keer loon per jaar.
  • Uren: Je werkt 36 tot 40 uur per week.
  • Extra's: Dagelijks een verzorgde lunch op de vestiging, 25 vakantiedagen, een goede pensioenregeling en toegang tot ruim 100 online trainingen.

Wat je gaat doen

  • Strategie & MT: Je kijkt vooruit, stelt de transportbegroting op en zorgt dat de afdeling strak op de rit blijft. Daarnaast adviseer je de vestigingsmanager over de strategische koers. Je werkt met harde data om de processen en de beladingsgraad structureel te verbeteren
  • Beleid & netwerken: De regels rondom stadsdistributie veranderen snel. Je neemt deel aan bestuurs overleggen en voert gesprekken met gemeenten, werkgroepen en externe partners. Samen bepalen jullie het optimale beleid voor het bevoorraden van onze klanten en de verdere transitie naar zero-emissie.
  • Leiderschap: Je bent eindverantwoordelijk voor de totale afdeling transport. Je stuurt de teamleiders en planners aan en coacht hen, zodat zij de afdeling van zo'n 70 collega's veilig kunnen laten werken.

De realiteit: Onze vrachtwagens rijden binnen de ring van Amsterdam. Dat is logistieke topsport vol smalle straatjes en strakke venstertijden. De uitdaging van deze functie zit in de toekomstbestendigheid. De stad eist steeds meer, hoe zorgen we dat we onze klanten steeds perfect blijven bevoorraden, terwijl we het beleid en de processen tegelijkertijd aanpassen aan de steeds strengere wet en regelgeving van de stad?

Wie ben jij?

  • Vakkennis: Je hebt een stevige achtergrond in transport en planning, en je snapt precies hoe stadsdistributie werkt. Een hbo werk- en denkniveau, aangevuld met een studie in supply chain.
  • Visie: Je kijkt voorbij de dag van morgen en snapt waar de stadsdistributie naartoe beweegt. Je hebt een duidelijke kijk op verduurzaming en weet lange termijn doelen om te zetten in haalbaar beleid.
  • Verbinding op de vloer: Je staat tussen je mensen en spreekt de taal van de chauffeurs. Je bent benaderbaar en bouwt aan een hecht team van collega's die graag voor jou werken.
  • Mentaliteit: Je bent een nuchtere leider met visie. Je bouwt actief aan een positieve werksfeer op de afdeling.
  • Taal: Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse taal in woord en geschrift (C1/C2, near native)
