Who We Are

Bidgely is an AI-powered SaaS company accelerating a clean-energy future by enabling energy companies and consumers to make data-driven decisions about energy. At Bidgely, we are building the intelligence layer for the energy transition. Our UtilityAI™ Platform https://www.bidgely.com/?amp=&utm_program=utilityai turns the data already flowing through smart meters into a rich, behind-the-meter view of how energy is being used—helping utilities understand customers at the appliance level, spot emerging loads like electric vehicles, and turn complex data into decisions that improve lives and strengthen the grid. This is AI with a real-world mission: helping people use energy more intelligently while giving energy providers the insight to build a cleaner, more resilient future.

Energy is entering one of the most consequential transformations in a generation. EVs, rooftop solar, batteries, flexible loads, extreme weather, and rising electricity demand are turning the grid into a dynamic, two-way system. Across the industry, AI is becoming a critical tool for forecasting demand, integrating renewables, optimizing distributed energy resources, improving reliability, and making the clean-energy transition more affordable and accessible. The U.S. Department of Energy describes AI as a force that can accelerate grid modernization and the broader clean-energy economy, while Bidgely is already applying it to real utility and customer challenges. This is where you come in. You will work at the intersection of advanced AI, energy, and a market that is being reshaped in real time—helping turn breakthrough technology into products, growth, and outcomes that matter. At Bidgely, you will not be building demos disconnected from the world; you will help utilities and millions of energy users navigate the future as it happens. How You Fit In

Bidgely is hiring analytical, curious, and action-oriented professionals who want to build practical AI solutions, solve meaningful business problems, and develop their expertise through hands-on work with experienced leaders.

You bring strong problem-solving skills, demonstrated AI capability, and the ability to learn quickly. We provide functional training, product and industry knowledge, practical coaching, and opportunities to apply what you learn.

As an AI Transformation Catalyst, you will work directly with functional teams and senior leaders to turn ideas into measurable results. You will take responsibility for defined projects and deliverables from the start, with your scope and independence growing as you build expertise and demonstrate readiness.

You will be aligned to one of three tracks:

- Product Marketing: Develop positioning, messaging, sales enablement materials, and customer-facing content with guidance from Product and Marketing leaders. Build your understanding of what we create, why customers buy, and how to communicate value.

- Sales & Growth Strategy: Help grow adoption and revenue for established products through customer research, commercial analysis, proposals, and improvements to sales workflows using AI.

- New Products Market Introduction: Work with an executive sponsor to research market opportunities, develop business cases, test positioning, and support the introduction of new products.

We are hiring three people through one common application process. You can indicate your preferred track, and we will explore your strengths and interests across the opportunities. Your track, reporting relationship, and initial scope will be confirmed before an offer.

What You’ll Own and Drive

Across All Tracks

- Take responsibility for a defined workstream or business problem, with hands-on coaching and regular review. Expand your ownership as you build expertise and demonstrate readiness.

- Turn ambiguous questions into structured analyses, recommendations, plans, and deliverables, working with your manager to clarify assumptions and priorities.

- Build and test AI tools, automations, and repeatable workflows that improve the speed, quality, and consistency of work.

- Check the accuracy and usefulness of AI outputs, identify limitations, and apply appropriate human judgment and review.

- Build strong working relationships across functions and help move shared projects forward.

- Define success measures with your manager, communicate progress and risks, and follow through on commitments.

- Present concise recommendations that explain your reasoning, evidence, and proposed next steps.

- Learn Bidgely’s products, customers, market, and operating context through structured learning and practical assignments, applying that knowledge to increasingly independent decisions.

Product Marketing Track

- Research customer needs and competitive alternatives, then develop and refine positioning and messaging with guidance from Product and Marketing leaders.

- Create sales enablement materials, talk tracks, competitive narratives, customer-facing content, and landing-page copy, incorporating feedback from experienced colleagues.

- Partner with Product, Sales, Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing to translate product capabilities into clear customer value.

- Gather product and market insights from customers, company leadership, and customer-facing teams.

- Build AI-enabled workflows for research, drafting, iteration, personalization, and content operations while maintaining accuracy and quality.

You will own defined deliverables while Marketing leadership retains responsibility for overall strategy and final messaging decisions.

Sales & Growth Strategy Track

- Analyze customer, product, and market information to identify opportunities for adoption, expansion, and revenue growth, working with commercial leaders to prioritize and test recommendations.

- Develop customer pitches, proposals, value narratives, business cases, and sales presentations that connect Bidgely’s products to measurable customer outcomes.

- Coordinate defined components of RFP and RFI responses, including research, drafting, input collection, and submission tracking. Progress toward managing complete responses with experienced leaders reviewing strategy, technical accuracy, and commercial commitments.

- Prepare and progressively lead portions of customer presentations alongside experienced colleagues, learning to tailor the story to executive, procurement, and technical audiences.

- Contribute account research, analyses, and customer-facing materials to cross-functional pursuit teams, learning how complex enterprise opportunities are developed and won.

- Build pricing models and recommendations with guidance from commercial and Finance leaders. Develop your understanding of packaging, usage models, implementation and services costs, multi-year agreements, discounting, and deal economics.

- Partner with functional teams to improve workflows such as account research, RFP responses, deal reviews, and sales planning through AI and automation.

- Create practical playbooks, analyses, and reusable tools that help customer-facing teams work more effectively.

- Measure the results of new approaches and work with functional leaders to expand those that improve productivity, customer engagement, or commercial outcomes.

Commercial, technical, and Finance leaders will retain approval of pricing, solution commitments, and contractual terms as you develop your expertise.

New Products Market Introduction Track

- Work with an executive sponsor to research, plan, and execute the introduction of new products, taking responsibility for defined deliverables and progressively broader scope.

- Develop business cases using customer research, market analysis, competitive context, and financial assumptions, with coaching from Product and commercial leaders.

- Help design and conduct research with analysts, customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to test product and positioning assumptions.

- Research and recommend target segments, buyer needs, initial use cases, and approaches to early adoption.

- Coordinate assigned launch activities across Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other teams.

- Track launch readiness, synthesize early customer feedback, and surface dependencies or roadblocks to your manager or executive sponsor.

Your sponsor and functional leaders will guide product strategy, investment decisions, and launch priorities while helping you build market and commercial judgment.

What Makes You Successful

Mindset and Working Style

- You are intellectually curious, analytically rigorous, and motivated to learn unfamiliar domains.

- You combine thoughtful analysis with action and tangible output.

- You can move from a blank page to a useful first version, then improve it through feedback and evidence.

- You communicate clearly and can explain complex technical, market, or business concepts in practical terms.

- You are comfortable working through ambiguity, asking useful questions, and seeking guidance when needed.

- You make thoughtful choices about priorities, trade-offs, and where to focus your effort.

- You build trust across functions, welcome constructive disagreement, and follow through on shared decisions.

- You apply feedback quickly and demonstrate increasing independence as your knowledge grows.

- You build processes that improve outcomes and simplify those that do not.

- You take responsibility for your work, communicate when you are blocked, and follow through until commitments are complete.

Experience and Capabilities

- An MBA from a leading business school and some relevant work experience are preferred, but neither is required. We welcome candidates who demonstrate strong analytical thinking, hands-on AI capability, and the ability to learn quickly through academic, professional, entrepreneurial, or independent projects.

- Evidence of turning analysis into decisions, useful deliverables, or results. Examples may come from internships, research, consulting projects, entrepreneurship, leadership, or other demanding work.

- Demonstrated use of AI to build or materially improve a workflow, tool, or output. Be prepared to explain what you built, how you checked its quality, what changed as a result, and what you learned.

- Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to structure an argument and explain your reasoning.

- The ability to manage multiple priorities, incorporate feedback, and deliver reliable work with appropriate support.

- Willingness to engage with senior leaders and cross-functional teams and develop confidence in unfamiliar business settings.

- Experience in SaaS, enterprise technology, AI, energy, utilities, or clean technology is helpful but not required.

Training, Mentorship, and Support Offered

You will report to a functional leader who will establish priorities, define your initial scope, and guide your day-to-day development. You will also receive dedicated coaching from Bidgely executives.

Your development will include product and industry learning, examples of effective work, feedback on deliverables, and opportunities to work alongside experienced colleagues. Your manager and executive mentor will help you understand the reasoning behind decisions and apply that judgment to your own work.

The three catalysts will meet regularly with executive mentors to share progress, work through challenges, and develop practical AI skills. Your functional manager will coordinate priorities with your executive mentor so expectations remain clear.

As you demonstrate readiness, you will take on more complex projects and greater decision-making responsibility. Your development discussions will include the skills, results, and next responsibilities that support your growth within your track.

How We’ll Assess Your Fit

Our shared assessment process will explore your problem-solving, communication, learning agility, and practical use of AI. You will also complete a work sample relevant to the track being considered.

You will have opportunities to explain your approach, evaluate the quality of your output, and adapt your work in response to feedback or new information. Examples from academic, personal, entrepreneurial, and professional projects are welcome.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
