Binnen de groep is Biocovers (www.biocovers.eu) het pionierende vlaggenschip op het gebied van milieuvriendelijk agro- en geotextiel. Op basis van het biopolymeer PLA produceert DSTG 100% bio-gebaseerde, biologisch afbreekbare en composteerbare landschaps- en vegetatiematten, hydroponische groeimatten en technische biomatten. Geproduceerd in België met hernieuwbare energie, biedt Biocovers een duurzaam en ecologisch alternatief voor traditionele kunststofoplossingen in landbouw, tuinbouw en landschapsarchitectuur.

Jobomschrijving

Als Business Development Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor het commerciële succes, de marktpositionering en de internationale expansie van de innovatieve Biocovers-productlijn. Je combineert strategisch inzicht met sterke actiegerichtheid om de duurzame oplossingen van DSTG stevig in de markt te verankeren.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor:

  • Het identificeren, benaderen en verzilveren van nieuwe opportuniteiten in de agro-, tuinbouw-, landscaping- en milieusector op internationaal niveau (Benelux, Frankrijk, Duitsland, UK, Italië en Scandinavië).
  • Het opzetten, aansturen en intensifiëren van samenwerkingen met een netwerk van verdelers, importeurs, agrarische distributeurs en groothandels.
  • Het opbouwen en onderhouden van langetermijnrelaties met strategische partners, eindgebruikers, overheidsinstanties en voorschrijvende instanties binnen de sector.
  • Het analyseren van markttrends, het opvolgen van de regelgeving rond duurzaamheid en concurrentieontwikkelingen om commerciële kansen proactief om te zetten in concrete groeiplannen.
  • Het nauw samenwerken met R&D en productie om klantspecifieke behoeften te vertalen naar innovatieve, bio-gebaseerde textieltoepassingen.
  • Het vertegenwoordigen van Biocovers en DSTG op internationale vakbeurzen, netwerkevenementen en bij klantevents als ambassadeur van duurzame textieltechnologie.
  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in een commerciële, bio-ingenieur- of technische richting en toont een sterke interesse in ecologische producten.
  • Je hebt minimaal 10 jaar succesvolle internationale ervaring in B2B business development, bij voorkeur binnen de agrotextiel-, landschapsarchitectuur-, geotextiel- of verpakkingssector.
  • Ervaring met een indirect verkoopmodel (het opzetten, aansturen en uitbouwen van een netwerk van verdelers, importeurs en distributeurs) is een belangrijke troef.
  • Je hebt een aantoonbare affiniteit met duurzaamheid, circulaire economie en biologisch afbreekbare materialen (zoals PLA).
  • Je bent commercieel, gedreven en een netwerker pur sang: je weet deuren te openen en langdurige relaties op te bouwen.
  • Je bent communicatief sterk in het Nederlands, Engels en Frans. Kennis van het Duits is een absolute troef.
  • Je bent bereid tot internationaal reizen (30%) voor klantbezoeken en vakbeurzen en dit hoofdzakelijk in de omliggende landen.
