Job Title: Floor Tiler

Job Summary
The Floor Tiler is responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing floor and wall tiles according to project specifications, drawings, and quality standards. The role requires good workmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to complete tiling works safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare floor and wall surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, levelling, and waterproofing where required.
- Measure and mark surfaces to ensure accurate tile layout and alignment.
- Cut and install ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and other types of tiles.
- Mix and apply tile adhesive, mortar, grout, and other installation materials.
- Ensure tiles are properly aligned, evenly spaced, and securely installed.
- Carry out grouting, sealing, finishing, and touch-up works.
- Inspect completed tiling works to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Repair damaged tiles and rectify defects when necessary.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and comply with site regulations.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to ensure timely completion of work.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in floor and wall tiling is preferred.
- Knowledge of tile installation techniques, materials, and tools.
- Ability to read measurements, follow drawings, and calculate material requirements.
- Good attention to detail and workmanship.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Responsible, punctual, and committed to completing work on schedule.
- Willing to work at construction or renovation sites.
