The posting

We are looking for an experienced and reliable person to join a pig farm in the Haderslev area. The position focuses mainly on working with sows, so previous pig farm experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Daily care of sows
  • Feeding and checking animals
  • Monitoring health and welfare
  • Assisting with daily sow management
  • Cleaning and maintaining good hygiene in the barn
  • Moving and handling pigs when required
  • Following farm routines, biosecurity rules and animal welfare procedures
  • Reporting health problems or unusual animal behaviour

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with sows is required
  • Preferably around 2 years of pig farm experience
  • Good understanding of daily sow care
  • Reliable and responsible
  • Comfortable with practical and physical farm tasks
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to follow farm procedures and instructions

Employment Conditions

  • Salary: approximately 150–180 DKK/hour
  • Final salary depends on experience and qualifications
  • Full-time position
  • Accommodation available for monthly rent
