The posting

We are looking for a reliable and motivated person to join a pig farm in Aars. This is an all-round position, supporting different daily tasks on the farm.

Previous pig farm experience is not required. Training will be provided. The most important qualities are reliability, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude toward working with animals.

Responsibilities

  • Daily care of pigs
  • Feeding and checking animals
  • Cleaning pens and maintaining good hygiene
  • Moving and handling pigs when required
  • Supporting different areas of the farm
  • General practical farm tasks
  • Following farm routines, biosecurity rules and animal welfare procedures
  • Reporting any problems or unusual animal behaviour

Requirements

  • No previous pig farm experience necessary
  • Willingness to learn
  • Reliable and responsible
  • Comfortable with physical and practical tasks
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working with pigs

Employment Conditions

  • Salary: 130–135 DKK/hour
  • Full-time position

Accommodation

  • Accommodation available
  • Base rent: 500 DKK/month
  • Electricity and heating are paid separately
  • Total monthly housing cost is approximately 1,500–2,000 DKK, depending on utility usage
