We are looking for an ambitious, driven, and energetic Business Development Executive Intern to join our team for a paid 6-month internship.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of our growth, talking to entrepreneurs, understanding their business goals, and introducing them to Bizadvisor’s solutions. This is not just a desk-job internship; it is a hands-on opportunity to learn B2B sales, client advisory, and growth strategies within Sri Lanka’s vibrant startup ecosystem.

What You Will Do

  • Client Engagement & Advisory: Handle inbound leads and inquiries from entrepreneurs looking to register or manage their companies in Sri Lanka.
  • Needs Analysis: Consult with potential clients to understand their business requirements and recommend the right Bizadvisor packages.
  • Lead Qualification & Follow-ups: Proactively follow up on prospective client leads via phone, WhatsApp, and email to guide them through our onboarding process.
  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, follow-ups, and sales pipelines using our internal CRM tools.
  • Market Outreach: Assist the Business Development team in identifying new growth opportunities, partnerships, and market trends.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our operations, secretarial, accounting, and tech teams to ensure a smooth transition for newly onboarded clients.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Degree / Professional Qualification in Business Management, Marketing, Economics, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Sinhala
  • Mindset: Highly motivated, target-oriented, with a genuine passion for startups, entrepreneurship, and sales.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Confident on the phone and in person—someone who loves talking to people and solving problems.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using modern digital tools, CRMs, and office suites.
  • Availability: Must be able to work on-site at our Maharagama office for the full 6-month duration.
