The posting

Build the skills to guide products from concept to launch in the future of satellite imaging.

Arlula is changing the way earth observation data is utilised and managed. Earth observation data, such as satellite imagery, is applied across various industries like climate management, agriculture, mining and defence, allowing people to better understand changes to our planet as seen from space.

We are currently seeking a final year student/recent graduate to join us as an intern working alongside our product and operations team across our geospatial data and orbital asset management platforms. As part of our team, you will learn about the space and Earth observation industry, develop your product and operational skills by working with our multidisciplinary team to translate customer needs into product improvements, and apply best practice as you help grow our software platform.

As part of our internship program, we will provide educational opportunities to help you upskill in areas such as:

  • Product operations and the product development lifecycle,
  • Customer research, feedback synthesis and requirements gathering,
  • Core geospatial and Earth observation industry concepts,
  • Process design, documentation and operational tooling,
  • Collaboration as part of an agile product team in a fast paced startup environment.

With mentorship from our team, you will lead a project that introduces you to earth observation concepts and be directly involved in supporting the product lifecycle through research, planning, prioritisation, coordination, testing and release of new features.

About Arlula:

Arlula is a fast growing space technology startup.

We facilitate organisations and individuals managing their growing bodies of earth observation data, delivering better utilisation of these unique assets. This support has allowed our customers to build new types of geospatial tools and insight engines that simply weren't feasible without scaled, automated data management tools. Fundamentally we are building an automated solution that is disrupting entrenched industry practices that traditionally limits who can access this unique type of data.

We are passionate about creating new commercial opportunities in a rapidly evolving space industry. We work with a range of international space agencies including NASA and ESA, while partnering with commercial satellite operators such as Vantor along with new and emerging operators like Wyvern. Our customers utilise our solutions across a range of industries for tasks such as climate and bushfire monitoring, insurance assessment, environmental planning and journalism to simplify both their acquisition and management needs.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
