Job Title: Hospitality Ambassador

Pay Range: $22.00 to $22.00 per hour (Weekly Pay & Pay Advance Before Payday!)

Shift/Schedule:

  • Open availability REQUIRED

Valid Driver's License PREFERRED

At Block by Block, we employ Ambassadors to make public spaces better by making them friendlier, safer, and cleaner for the communities we serve.

If you're outgoing and friendly, and enjoy working outside and meeting new people, we have just the job for you -- Hospitality Ambassador. This is also a great opportunity for retirees, veterans, and graduating high school seniors who are looking for their first job.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • This role will provide a high level of visibility at the street level to carry out a wide variety of tasks to improve the overall experience and appearance of the zone they are assigned to. Must maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times.
  • Actively acknowledge and engage pedestrians and visitors with a friendly greeting/smile in order to provide directions and/or city information.
  • Be watchful for unwanted behaviors or criminal activity and report to local authorities. Must be able to complete basic daily reports of tasks completed, which requires being proficient in speaking, reading, and writing the English language.Check Out Our Day In the Life Video:

  • Experience preferred, but not required. We will train.
  • Must have a H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have the physical capacity to walk and (may include riding a bike) continuously during an eight-hour shift, with two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch break.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions (free uniforms provided)
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in order to create basic reports.
