What's the role:

We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Analytics Management Team in the Singapore office. The Team Leader should have strong cross-asset knowledge and demonstrate superior customer service and product expertise. We are also looking for someone who can bring a strong understanding of how Bloomberg creates value for clients and apply that perspective to developing Analytics representatives who are increasingly client-ready, commercially aware and prepared for broader opportunities across Bloomberg.

The Analytics Team Leader role offers broad exposure across client engagement, people development and strategic business initiatives, providing a well-rounded leadership experience. It is an opportunity to build formal people-leadership experience, shape future talent, deepen cross-functional partnerships and contribute to how Analytics supports evolving client needs and growth opportunities in Singapore and across ASEAN.

The Analytics Team Leader will remain close to the client experience by coaching representatives across helpdesk inquiries and proactive client engagement, while acting as a point of escalation for the team. They will continuously look for ways to elevate client outcomes through the team, helping representatives move beyond issue resolution, better understand client workflows, ask effective questions and identify opportunities to deepen engagement. Alongside this, the Team Leader is responsible for recruiting and developing talent, building the skills, judgment and commercial mindset representatives need to succeed in future client-facing, Sales and broader opportunities across Bloomberg.

We'll trust you to:

  • Hire and develop talent through extensive coaching, mentoring and training, helping representatives build product expertise, commercial awareness, client confidence and sound judgment
  • Drive excellence in quality and customer service, with a focus on creating meaningful value for internal and external clients
  • Bring a strong Sales and client perspective to the team, helping representatives connect client workflows, Bloomberg solutions and broader business outcomes
  • Build strong alignment with Sales to understand client and business priorities, create meaningful development opportunities for representatives and support strategic business goals
  • Translate evolving client demand and growth opportunities in Singapore and across ASEAN into clear priorities for the team, ensuring Analytics capabilities and resources are aligned to where they can have the greatest impact
  • Foster an environment of accountability, teamwork, collaboration and inclusion across regions and departments
  • Be a resource center and point of escalation for team members
  • Efficiently utilize technology and resources to manage queue traffic while identifying innovative ways to enhance operations and client outcomes

You’ll need to have:

  • Minimum 10 years of client facing experience in financial services or a financial technology company
  • Experience in one or more asset class (Equities, Fixed Income, Commodities, FX, etc.) gained within the past 5 years
  • Prior experience in team building, leadership, or in mentorship and development of others
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organisation
  • Bachelor’s degree or degree equivalent qualifications

We’d love to see:

  • Successful Bloomberg Sales experience, or meaningful experience partnering with Sales and engaging clients in commercially focused conversations
  • Strong understanding of client businesses, workflows and how Bloomberg can create value across different levels of engagement
  • An understanding of the Singapore and ASEAN client landscape, and the ability to identify where Analytics can strategically support evolving market and business needs
