Een afwisselende baan op het water, met veel contact met reizigers en verantwoordelijkheid voor een veilige overtocht.

Werk jij graag buiten, voel jij je thuis op het water en zoek je een baan met vrijheid en verantwoordelijkheid? Dit doe je met de veerponten; Drongelense-, Capelse-en Bernse Veer in de regio van Heusden. Als schipper zorg jij ervoor dat passagiers en voertuigen veilig en op tijd worden overgezet. Je houdt overzicht, hebt dagelijks contact met reizigers en werkt op een bijzondere locatie midden op het water.

De werktijden zijn flexibel en wisselend. Je kunt worden ingepland tussen 05.45 en 01.00 uur, zowel doordeweeks als in het weekend. We stemmen jouw werktijden altijd af op basis van overleg, zodat het aansluit bij jouw beschikbaarheid. Spreekt dit jou aan? Dan sta jij straks ook aan het roer bij Blue Amigo?

Wat wij bieden Salaris: €16,27 bruto per uur + toeslagen (20% - 100%) bij 36 uur: € 2538,- bruto per maand Uren per week: in overleg al mogelijk vanaf 16 uur per week. Contractduur: Seizoenscontract van 7 maanden (maart t/m oktober 2027) Reiskostenvergoeding: € 0,23 per kilometer Directe pensioenopbouw

Wat ga je doen?

Als schipper bij Blue Amigo ben je verantwoordelijk voor het zelfstandig varen van de veerpont. Je zorgt ervoor dat passagiers en voertuigen veilig en op tijd worden overgezet. Je bedient de marifoon en controleert voor aanvang van je dienst of alles klaar is om te varen.

Daarnaast houd je de pont schoon en operationeel, zodat reizigers veilig en prettig kunnen oversteken. Bij kleine storingen kijk je eerst of je deze zelf kunt oplossen. Kom je er niet uit? Dan schakel je de technische dienst in.

Herken jij jezelf?

Je voelt je thuis op het water, werkt graag zelfstandig en vindt het belangrijk dat reizigers veilig en prettig kunnen oversteken.

  • Je vindt het leuk om met verschillende mensen in contact te zijn
  • Je hebt geen moeite met werken in een wisselend rooster, inclusief avonden, weekenden en feestdagen
