The posting

Word sluiswachter bij Blue Amigo – vanaf de waterkant zorg jij dat schepen en passanten veilig en vlot kunnen doorvaren.

Heb je interesse in wat er op het water gebeurt, van beroepsvaart tot recreatievaart, en lijkt het je leuk om daar dagelijks mee bezig te zijn? Bij Blue Amigo werken we iedere dag op, aan en voor de Nederlandse waterwegen. Voor de sluisbediening in Bruinisse zoeken we nieuwe collega’s. Vanuit de bediencentrale bedien je meerdere sluizen op afstand. Via schermen en camera’s volg je het scheepvaartverkeer en heb je contact met schippers.

Je werkt gemiddeld 32-36 uur per week met een jaarcontract met uitzicht op vast. Je werkt in een 3 ploegendienst met tijden van 6.00-14.00 / 14.00-22.00 / 10.00-18.00. Vanaf november komt hier ook een nachtdienst bij van 22.00-06.00 uur.

Ervaring is niet nodig. Wij leiden je op. De opleiding start medio januari 2027. Tijdens de opleiding ben je nog niet in dienst. Rond je deze succesvol af, dan treed je naar verwachting begin april 2027 bij Blue Amigo in dienst.

Wat wij bieden

  • Salaris van € 19,48 bruto per uur (bij 36 uur: € 3038,88 bruto per maand)
  • Jaarcontract van 32-36 uur per week met uitzicht op vast
  • Onregelmatigheidstoeslagen van 20%–100%
  • Reiskostenvergoeding € 0,23 cent per kilometer
  • Pensioenopbouw vanaf je eerste werkdag
  • Volledig vergoede opleiding van 9 weken in samenwerking met NNVO

Wat ga je doen? Als sluiswachter bedien je handmatig de sluizen en houdt je het scheepvaartverkeer in de gaten. Je zorgt ervoor dat bruggen en sluizen op het juiste moment veilig geopend en gesloten worden.

  • Je bedient deze sluis handmatig.
  • Je hebt via marifoon en telefoon contact met schippers.
  • Bij een storing of onverwachte situatie blijf je rustig en volg je de juiste stappen.

Wat heb je nodig?

  • Minimaal mbo+ werk- en denkniveau om de opleiding te kunnen volgen
  • Je spreekt en begrijpt Nederlands goed
  • Je kunt zelfstandig naar de bediencentrale komen
  • Je kunt werken in een 24/7-rooster
  • Je bent vanaf januari 2027 beschikbaar voor de volledige opleiding

Bij indiensttreding vragen wij een Verklaring Omtrent Gedrag (VOG) voor je aan.

De opleiding De opleiding duurt 9 weken en bestaat uit klassikale lessen, zelfstudie, online lessen en praktijkdagen. Je leert hoe je bruggen en sluizen veilig bedient, welke regels gelden en hoe je communiceert met schippers. Je sluit de opleiding af met theorie- en praktijkexamens.

Vooraf volg je de online vooropleiding Brug- en Sluisbediening. Heb je Klein Vaarbewijs 1? Dan kun je ook instromen.

Goed om te weten: de opleiding start medio januari 2027. Tijdens de opleiding ben je nog niet in dienst en ontvang je geen salaris. Blue Amigo betaalt de opleidings- en reiskosten, mits je de opleiding succesvol afrondt en daarna bij ons in dienst treedt. Als je alles in één keer behaalt, start je naar verwachting begin april 2027.
