General Dentist Opportunity in Asheville, NC!

Blue Jay Dental is thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for a general dentist to join our client's practice in Asheville, North Carolina. If you're experienced in molar endodontics or eager to learn, this could be the ideal position for you!  This job was updated on 2/7/25

Position Overview:

  • Role: General Dentist
  • Location: Asheville, North Carolina
  • Schedule: 4-day work week (3-5 days per week)
  • Compensation: Competitive % of Net Production
  • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use advanced clinical and radiological techniques to diagnose patients dental needs.
  • Provide comprehensive care, including routine exams, restorations, extractions, crowns, cleanings, and fluoride treatments.
  • Comfortable with bread and butter restorative dentistry, crown and bridge work, and simple extractions.
  • Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
  • Supervise dental hygienists and dental assistants to ensure quality care.
  • Oversee administrative functions within the office.

Requirements:

  • Education: DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school
  • Licensing: Must hold a valid North Carolina dental license and DEA registration
  • Experience: Residency completed; comfortable with bread and butter restorative work, crown and bridge, and simple extractions
  • Focus: A commitment to clinical excellence and providing top-tier patient care
