Reporting to the Sr. Regional Pricing Manager, this role maintains pricing accuracy, analyzes market and transactional data, monitors gross margin performance, and delivers recurring reporting and insights that support informed business decisions. This position plays a key role in supporting profitability by ensuring timely pricing execution, identifying pricing opportunities, and collaborating across Sales, Product Management, Cost Management, and Operations teams. What You'll Do
Enter, validate, and maintain customer-specific pricing, cost-driven adjustments, and price changes within the pricing system according to established schedules. Review pricing requests and exception submissions for completeness, policy compliance, and margin impact before escalation for approval. Audit pricing records and agreements to ensure accuracy and address discrepancies, expired agreements, and outdated costs. Communicate pricing updates and effective dates to Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams. Analyze pricing transactions to identify outliers, margin leakage, and opportunities to improve price realization by customer, product category, and market. Monitor competitive activity, supplier cost changes, and market trends to support regional pricing decisions. Model the financial impact of pricing actions, rebates, volume commitments, and other strategic initiatives. Support bid and quote activity through profitability analysis, historical pricing reviews, and win-rate evaluations. Monitor gross margin performance across regions, branches, customers, and product categories; identify adverse trends and recommend corrective actions. Reconcile pricing, cost, and freight data to ensure accurate margin reporting. Partner with Cost Management and Product Management teams to ensure timely response to cost changes and margin erosion risks. Identify low-margin or unprofitable accounts and SKUs and develop supporting analyses for pricing actions. Produce daily, weekly, and monthly pricing and margin reports for business leaders and stakeholders. Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and templates to increase visibility into pricing and profitability performance. Translate complex data into concise presentations, reports, and recommendations for leadership. Support forecasting, budgeting, and month-end activities through pricing and margin analysis. Document reporting methodologies and data definitions to ensure consistency, repeatability, and audit readiness.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered. Generally 2+ years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, category management, or a similar analytical environment.
