The Opportunity

BlueScope Distribution is looking for a Warehouse Team Member (Day Shift) to join the team based in Eagle Farm, QLD. BlueScope Distribution is a single-source provider of product, processing and service solutions in steel and aluminium product. The business supports customers in a variety of industries and works with them to help deliver projects on time and to specification. BlueScope Distribution supports its customers by helping them find the freedom to do what they do best.

No previous warehousing, operations or manufacturing experience? No problem - we provide comprehensive on-the-job training and ongoing support to help you build a long-term career with us.

What We Offer

These full-time, permanent roles offer a competitive weekly rate starting from $1,209.54 pre-tax (excluding loadings and allowances), plus superannuation. You’ll also have access to overtime, public holiday pay and a quarterly bonus. Our operations run Monday to Friday, with current opportunities available across our day shift warehousing team, working 6:00am to 2:00pm.

What Will You Do?

In this role, you will be part of the team producing our high-quality steel products, with a strong focus on safety and attention to detail to ensure only the finest quality is delivered – on time, every time.

Your day-to-day work can include:

  • supporting and promoting a safe working environment
  • operating machinery to process and manufacture our products
  • operating equipment such as forklift and cranes
  • packing, strapping, and checking products for quality

The role involves manual handling and lifting, as well as working in a manufacturing environment where noise and seasonal temperature changes are expected. We provide the training, support and equipment you need to work safely and successfully.
