Production Operatives – Permanent Roles | South Yorkshire

About the Role
As a Production Operative, you’ll use your technical skills to produce everything from perfectly stitched books to large-format posters, with precision and quality at every stage.

- Salary starting dependent on experience: 8.5-hour shifts, 42.5 hours per week: approx. £29,724 per year 12-hour DuPont shifts, average 42.87 hours per week: approx. £29,986 per year

Shift patterns
Double day shift (Monday to Friday): You’ll rotate weekly between two shifts:
- Early: 6am–2.30pm
- Late: 2.30pm–11pm
24/5 rotating shift (Monday to Friday): You’ll rotate weekly across three shifts over a three-week cycle:
- Week 1: 6am–2pm
- Week 2: 2pm–10pm
- Week 3: 10pm–6am
DuPont (24/7): This pattern runs 12-hour day and night shifts over a four-week cycle. You’ll typically work 3–4 shifts in a row, followed by several days off, including a full 7 days off every four weeks.
- Week 1: 4 nights, 3 days off
- Week 2: 3 days, 1 day off, 3 nights
- Week 3: 3 days off, 4 days
- Week 4: 7 days off
What We’re Looking For
- Comfortable working independently in a busy, physical environment
- A good team player and communicator
- Flexible during busy periods
- Basic to good PC skills
- Committed to health, safety and quality
- Willing to work 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, depending on the role
