Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Operations Manager to join a fast-growing, dynamic business within the retail and manufacturing sector. We are looking for a hands-on operational leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for driving operational excellence across multiple business functions.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys improving processes, leading high-performing teams and ensuring that every aspect of the business operates efficiently and profitably.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business
  • Drive operational excellence across retail, warehouse and logistics functions
  • Lead and develop operational teams while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Support and improve retail store performance and customer experience
  • Manage warehouse operations, inventory and distribution processes
  • Identify and implement operational efficiencies and best practices
  • Analyse operational performance and implement improvement initiatives
  • Ensure business objectives are achieved while maintaining high operational standards
  • Work closely with leadership to support business growth and operational strategy

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Operations Management role
  • Proven experience managing multiple operational functions
  • Strong people management and leadership experience
  • Experience within one or more of the following industries:Retail FMCG Food Manufacturing Warehousing Distribution Logistics Supply Chain
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding
  • Demonstrated ability to improve operational efficiencies and business performance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business Management or a related field will be advantageous

  • Experience leading teams of 100+ employees
  • Proven success in improving operational performance and implementing operational efficiencies
  • Stable career history demonstrating progression and longevity
