Trailer Technician - 6 Month Contracts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including tire changes, minor electrical repairs, and greasing.
  • Use maintenance software to create, track, and manage work orders for all maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Communicate status updates on repairs, maintenance, and safety checks to internal customers and teams.
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate repairs or replacement parts.
  • Ensure all work complies with company safety protocols and industry standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education/Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in trailer maintenance or repair.
  • Technical Skills: Basic welding skills preferred.
  • Tools: Ability to provide your own tools within 30 days of hire.
  • Additional Skills: Ability to assess and recommend solutions for trailer maintenance and repair needs. Strong communication skills to update internal teams on repair progress and requirements.
