Automotive Sales Consultant

Earning Potential: $80,000–$120,000 per year

Bob Boyte Honda in Moss Point is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Automotive Sales Consultant to join the Boyte Auto Family. In this role, you will help customers find the right vehicle, guide them through the buying process, and build lasting relationships through excellent service and consistent follow-up.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative, and is driven to succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome customers and learn about their vehicle needs, preferences, and budget.
  • Present new Honda and pre-owned vehicles, explain features, and conduct test drives.
  • Work with sales management to present purchase options and guide customers through the sales process.
  • Maintain current knowledge of inventory, Honda products, dealership promotions, and available financing options.
  • Respond promptly to phone, internet, and showroom inquiries.
  • Keep accurate customer records and complete follow-up tasks in the dealership’s customer relationship management system.
  • Generate business through prospecting, referrals, repeat customers, and community relationships.
  • Follow up after delivery to answer questions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work with fellow sales consultants, management, and the finance team to meet individual and dealership goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in automotive sales or a related customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
  • A positive attitude, professional appearance, and commitment to customer service.
  • Motivation to meet sales goals and follow a consistent sales process.
  • Ability to learn and clearly explain vehicle features and technology.
  • Strong organization and follow-through.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
