*We have multiple Project Manager positions open, including St. Louis or Kansas City MO, Chicago IL, Denver CO, Indianapolis IN, Detroit MI, and Ohio! POSITION SUMMARY: The Boelter Companies, a national and growing supplier of commercial kitchen equipment is seeking to fill a full time Sales (Project Manager) position selling foodservice equipment projects in the following market territories: St. Louis or Kansas City MO, Chicago IL, Denver CO, Indianapolis IN, Detroit MI, and Ohio! Duties include seeking out and selling to public and privately funded projects. Customers will include architects, general contractors, and a variety of foodservice operators including restaurants, chain accounts, senior living, business in-plant feeding, hotels, hospitals, sports & entertainment venues. 

The associate will embody and execute our company core values within all day-to-day duties and responsibilities:   We work as a team, leveraging our collective strengths We are passionate, bringing resiliency, creativity, and grit We do what’s right with honesty, respect, and accountability We are reliable, through innovative and streamlined processes We have fun, celebrating successes and learning from failures We build relationships, helping our colleagues and customers thrive   ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: • Design, specify and sell contract jobs. • Preparation of price quotes for contract jobs, both bid & negotiated. • Perform estimating & bid preparation process. • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and continually demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy. • Must work well under pressure and be able to meet tight deadlines. • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. • Must have general computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook. • AutoQuotes proficiency required if from foodservice industry. • SAP experience preferred, but not required. • Must be comfortable with job site conditions. • Must be able to travel, when required.   EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and COMPETENCIES: • Must have associate degree or bachelor’s degree and/or one to three years of relevant experience. • Must have previous experience with layout, design, and project management (preferably within the foodservice industry). • Commitment: Makes a commitment to learn new skills and processes. Willing to go the extra mile to complete projects on schedule. Does not give up on tasks until completed in a quality manner. • Professionalism:  Acts in a businesslike and professional manner. Takes extra efforts to improve knowledge and skills to be the best in the profession. Adheres to the highest level of professionalism by demonstrating honesty, integrity and maturity. • Rigor/Self-Discipline: Communicates clearly and effectively with others the steps involved and the importance of following the process. Can identify multiple projects and prioritize them to meet required deadlines. • Teamwork: Contributes knowledge and information to assist the team, especially in the problem-solving process. Resolves any interpersonal issues that arise that may jeopardize the team’s successes.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS and WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Sedentary work that primarily involves standing/sitting. • Some light lifting, bending, and reaching required.
