Reports to: Head of Interpreting

About the Opportunity:

Bond Communications was established in 2023 and launched BondVRS in April 2025 with a mission to reimagine the Video Relay Service (VRS) experience for both Deaf users and interpreters. As a private company, we have the flexibility to thoughtfully build our service in partnership with the Deaf community.

Every week, we incorporate feedback and insights from both our users and interpreters to refine existing features and introduce new innovations. As a result, BondVRS users now benefit from features such as closed captions for all VRS calls, the ability to share context with interpreters before a call begins, and one-click access to invite Bond interpreters into external video conferencing platforms including Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and FaceTime.

Our greatest differentiator is our exceptional team of passionate, highly skilled American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters who bring our mission to life every day. In addition to delivering outstanding interpretation services, our interpreters play an active role in shaping the future of the platform. They collaborate closely with our Product, Technology, and Human Resources teams to test innovative ideas, provide operational insights, and help drive enhancements that improve the experience for both interpreters and customers alike.

We are looking to add highly experienced interpreters to our team. Individuals who beyond delivering top-tier ASL interpretation are also eager to co-create something new and shape the future of accessible communication. Candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English, along with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experience. To ensure the highest quality of service, all applicants must hold RID or BEI certification and will be required to pass a skills screening assessment.

If you are passionate about innovation, accessibility, and reshaping the future of VRS, come and join us!

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
