  • Lead the translation of the Groupe's global brand narrative into a U.S.-relevant strategy, establishing strategic guardrails, priorities, and decision criteria for the American consumer and retail landscape.
  • Synthesize category, competitive, cultural, and consumer trends to identify white space, shape portfolio choices, and recommend growth priorities to Marketing and executive leadership.
  • Own the annual and long-range brand planning process across the portfolio. Partner with all other Marketing functional leaders to develop growth objectives, portfolio and pricing strategy, integrated marketing priorities, and A&P investment allocation resulting in a clear strategic plan designed to meet or exceed our growth objectives.
  • Manage packaging design and brand identity execution, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines across all formats and retail channels.
  • Manage, coach, and develop team, establishing clear priorities, decision rights, performance expectations, and development plans while maintaining accountability for portfolio results.
  • Build brand management capability, operating rhythms, and cross-functional ways of working that improve strategic clarity, execution quality, and speed of decision-making.

  • Partner with the Innovation & Culinary Creations team and the Fresh and Shelf Stable Category Directors on new product ideation, concept development, and go-to-market planning, ensuring new items are grounded in brand strategy.
  • Serve as the senior Brand partner to Sales and Shopper Marketing, aligning portfolio strategy, trade investment, customer priorities, and in-store execution to deliver both brand equity and commercial growth.
  • Partner with Digital Activation & eCommerce leadership to establish portfolio-wide digital shelf, social, content, and retail media priorities, ensuring integrated and consistent brand expression.
  • Represent Brand Management in Marketing leadership, enterprise business reviews, and major customer or launch forums; provide clear strategic recommendations, risks, and performance updates to senior leaders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8–12+ years of progressive CPG brand management experience, including significant portfolio leadership, P&L accountability, and responsibility for delivering profitable growth.
  • Demonstrated success setting multi-year brand or portfolio strategy and leading annual plans across positioning, pricing, innovation, integrated marketing, packaging, and A&P investment.
  • Strong grounding in consumer insights and marketing research methodologies, with the ability to translate findings into brand decisions.
  • Experience managing creative, media, or research agency partners.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to own portfolio P&L outcomes, allocate investment, evaluate returns, and translate performance into decisive action.
  • Proven enterprise-level influence and executive communication skills, with the ability to align Sales, Finance, Innovation, Digital, Shopper Marketing, and agency partners around strategic priorities.
  • Track record of directly managing, coaching, and developing brand management talent, including setting goals, delegating ownership, and driving accountability.
  • Food & beverage or perishables/produce category experience a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
