Boom https://www.boompay.app/ is on a mission to level the playing field for the 110+ million renters in the US by making housing more flexible, affordable, and rewarding. Boom is building a suite of rental financial services for renters and property managers, including tenant screening, rent payment reporting, rent reporting-as-a-service, and a number of integrations with the largest property management systems (PMS). WHAT TO SEND US

WHERE WE USUALLY HIRE

- Engineering: full stack, AI, security, QA, engineering leadership, and product.

- Go-To-Market: sales, customer success, customer support, and marketing.

- Operations: revenue operations, leasing and property management operations, and program management.

- Finance and accounting: accounting, FP&A, and finance operations.

If your work doesn’t fall into one of those, send it anyway and make the case.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

- People who want to build a function from scratch. Most of our roles are the first or second hire in their area.

- Hands-on experience with AI tools, with specific examples of automations you’ve built or agents you’ve deployed.

- Comfort working quickly with very few layers of management, and a habit of owning your own numbers.

- High standards, without the politics that tend to come with bigger companies.

- Real interest in the problem. There are more than 110 million renters in the US, and very little of the financial system is built for them.

HOW WE WORK

- We work in-office in Austin, Texas.

- The team is small, the founders are accessible, and there isn’t much standing between an idea and shipping it.

- We automate before we add headcount, and we expect everyone here to work that way.
