As part of the global research organization, our AI research in Silicon Valley focuses on Foundation Models and Gen AI, Human-AI Collaboration and Trustworthy AI, AI for Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Autonomous Systems, AI Systems Engineering, and Industry AI. We develop scalable, intelligent, and trustworthy AI solutions to enable inspiring user experiences for Bosch products and services in application areas such as ADAS, smart manufacturing, enterprise AI, healthcare, smart home, and building solutions.

Originating from Bosch AI research in Silicon Valley, our Agentic AI Research Group advances cutting-edge research in large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and intelligent autonomous systems. Our research spans autonomous and multi-agent systems, agent reasoning and planning, agent memory, self-improvement, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), reinforcement learning, and multimodal foundation models. We aim to develop novel algorithms and systems that enable AI agents to reason, learn, collaborate, and act effectively in complex real-world environments. We actively collaborate with leading researchers and organizations across academia and industry to advance the state of the art in Agentic AI. Our work regularly contributes to internationally renowned conferences and journals, including NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, NAACL, AAAI, COLM, and TMLR.

  • Agent self-improvement, continual learning, and adaptation
  • Tool use, function calling, and agent-environment interaction
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic RAG
  • Knowledge integration and grounding for agents
  • LLM post-training, reinforcement learning, and test-time scaling
  • Multi-modal agents leveraging language, vision, and structured data
  • Human-agent collaboration and interactive AI systems
  • Agent evaluation, benchmarking, reliability, and safety

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct novel research in Agentic AI, LLMs, and related fields.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate research prototypes demonstrating innovative AI agent capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with Bosch researchers and domain experts to address challenging industrial problems.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
