Tijdens deze afstudeerstage Duurzaamheid en Emissiedata duik je in de informatie achter de CO₂-rapportages van Boskalis Nederland. Je onderzoekt hoe emissiedata wordt verzameld, verwerkt en gebruikt, en ontwikkelt verbeteringen die bijdragen aan betrouwbare duurzaamheidsrapportages. Daarbij krijg je inzicht in hoe een grote organisatie haar duurzaamheidsinformatie organiseert en inzet voor het behalen van haar duurzaamheidsdoelstellingen. Je werkt op het snijvlak van duurzaamheid, energie, data en informatiemanagement en draagt bij aan betrouwbare informatie die de basis vormt voor belangrijke duurzaamheidsbeslissingen.

Achter elke emissierapportage schuilt een enorme hoeveelheid data. Binnen Boskalis Nederland is hiervoor een sterke basis ingericht. Jouw uitdaging ligt in de volgende stap: hoe maken we bestaande datastromen, analyses en rapportages nog slimmer, inzichtelijker en toekomstbestendiger? Tijdens deze afstudeerstage onderzoek je hoe informatie uit verschillende systemen optimaal kan worden benut en hoe deze voor uiteenlopende stakeholders helder en toegankelijk blijft.

Met jouw frisse blik signaleer je kansen om processen te verbeteren, informatiestromen te vereenvoudigen en de kwaliteit van rapportages verder te versterken. Je werkt op het snijvlak van duurzaamheid, data en informatiemanagement en levert een concrete bijdrage aan de verdere ontwikkeling van de emissierapportages van Boskalis Nederland.

Zo ziet jouw afstudeeropdracht eruit:

  • Je brengt databronnen, systemen, stakeholders en informatiestromen rondom emissiedata in kaart.
  • Je onderzoekt hoe gegevens worden verzameld, verwerkt en toegepast in CO₂- en duurzaamheidsrapportages.
  • Je analyseert de kwaliteit, volledigheid en betrouwbaarheid van beschikbare data.
  • Je spreekt met verschillende afdelingen om behoeften, knelpunten en verbeterkansen op te halen.
  • Je werkt een advies uit voor een efficiëntere en beter beheersbare informatievoorziening rondom emissieregistratie.

Herken je jezelf hierin?

Je vindt het leuk om complexe informatie te ontrafelen en verbanden te leggen tussen data, processen en mensen. Je stapt gemakkelijk op collega's af om vragen te stellen en informatie op te halen. Daarnaast werk je gestructureerd, kijk je kritisch naar de kwaliteit van gegevens en vertaal je analyses graag naar concrete verbeteradviezen waar anderen direct mee aan de slag kunnen.

Verder:

  • Volg je een hbo- of wo-opleiding in de richting van (technische) bedrijfskunde, informatiekunde, data science, ICT of duurzaamheid.
  • Heb je interesse in duurzaamheid, data en procesverbetering.
