You’ll oversee night-shift lab operations across packaging, chemistry, and microbiology, support and coach technicians, and help ensure products and materials meet quality standards. You’ll also drive continuous improvement, troubleshoot issues, and partner with Brewing and Packaging to resolve process deviations.

What You'll Brew:

  • Lead and support Technicians by coordinating workflow, providing coaching and training, validating adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintaining capability records.
  • Investigate production and process deviations, facilitate Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), escalate issues as needed, and help develop effective resolutions.
  • Review, update, and create quality SOPs and communicate process changes through One-Point Lessons (OPLs) in partnership with the Training Department.
  • Audit Critical Points (CPs) and Critical Control Points (CCPs), conduct Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) audits, validate processes, and follow through on Quality Assurance Reports (QARs) and Defective Product Material Reports (DPMRs).
  • Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and verify laboratory equipment; maintain Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) tracking; participate in sensory panels; and determine whether products meet specifications for release or hold.
  • Drive continuous improvement by recommending process and equipment improvements, supporting new product transitions, maintaining the lab Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), and building effective partnerships across Brewing, Packaging, and Quality Assurance.
  • Work safely in a production environment with constant noise, production equipment, and forklifts, including spaces that may experience extreme temperatures.
  • Work overtime as needed, which may include 12-hour days, weekends, and holidays, while following all required brewery safety procedures and using assigned personal protective equipment.

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2 to 4 years of work experience in a production facility or laboratory environment.
  • Familiarity with packaging, brewing, and microbiological laboratory practices.
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), 5S, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and laboratory and production safety practices.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience operating, maintaining, or troubleshooting equipment.
  • Proficiency with computers and automated equipment used to enter and interpret data, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and QI Analyst.
  • Experience using continuous improvement, analytical, problem-solving, and project-management skills in a production or laboratory environment.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including repeated lifting, and regularly walk or stand for extended periods of up to 11 hours per day.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
