Key Responsibilities:

  • FP&A Technology Strategy: Own and execute the FP&A technology and transformation roadmap, aligning investments and priorities with Finance and business objectives.

  • Analytics & Reporting: Lead the FP&A analytics strategy across Power BI, OfficeConnect, Adaptive reporting, and other BI tools, enabling executive reporting, actionable insights, and governed self-service analytics.
  • Data & Integration: Partner with Data and Engineering teams to strengthen FP&A data architecture, governance, taxonomy, integrations, and data flows across Snowflake, Adaptive, ERP/HCM/CRM platforms, and reporting solutions.
  • Automation & AI: Identify and deliver automation, AI, advanced analytics, and workflow opportunities that reduce manual effort, improve controls, accelerate planning/reporting cycles, and enhance decision support.
  • Transformation Leadership: Lead strategic FP&A transformation initiatives from business case and solution design through implementation, adoption, and benefits realization.
  • Architecture & Governance: Establish standards for solution architecture, system access, data quality, testing, change management, documentation, controls, and production releases.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the senior FP&A technology partner to Finance leadership and collaborate closely with IT, Data Strategy, Engineering, Accounting, HR, and other business teams.
  • People Leadership: Lead, develop, and mentor the FP&A technology, BI, systems, and analytics team while building strong technical capability, succession, and operational resilience.
  • Adoption & Enablement: Drive user adoption, training, documentation, knowledge sharing, and data literacy to enable effective and controlled self-service across Finance.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related quantitative discipline and MBA, master’s in finance/Analytics/Information Systems, or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience across FP&A, financial systems, analytics, data, or finance transformation, including leadership of teams and complex cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong executive communication and ability to translate Finance requirements into scalable technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner across Finance, IT, Data, Engineering, and senior leadership.

Technical Skills & Competencies:

  • Planning and Performance Management: Workday Adaptive Planning or comparable EPM platforms; budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, scenario modelling, and management reporting.
  • Analytics and Visualization: Power BI, Tableau, Metabases, OfficeConnect, Adaptive reports, or comparable reporting technologies.
  • Data and Cloud Platforms: Snowflake, Azure, enterprise data warehouses, relational databases, and modern Finance data architectures.
  • Data Integration: SQL, ETL/ELT, APIs, integration mappings, workflow orchestration, reconciliation, and data-quality controls.
  • Automation and Advanced Analytics: Python or comparable automation technologies; predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and appropriately governed AI solutions.
  • Enterprise Applications: Exposure to Salesforce, Dayforce/Ceridian, ERP, CRM, HCM, and other operational systems that provide inputs to FP&A.
  • Financial Modelling: Advanced Excel and a strong understanding of financial models, hierarchies, allocations, drivers, assumptions, and reporting structures.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Strong business and financial acumen, with a clear understanding of how technology can improve planning, forecasting, reporting, and decision support.
  • Proven change leader who can simplify complex processes and drive adoption of new systems, automation, and ways of working.
  • Strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across Finance, Data, Engineering, and IT.
  • Technology-forward and analytically curious, with a practical approach to automation, AI, and emerging capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing technical and analytics teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and systems-thinking mindset, with the ability to balance immediate business needs with scalable long-term solutions.
  • Highly collaborative, accountable, and execution-focused, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global, matrixed environment.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
