SUMMARY
The Revenue Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability across an assigned property cluster through disciplined, data-driven pricing, distribution, and forecast execution. This role partners with property General Managers to translate market data into daily pricing action and keeps the VP of Commercial Strategy informed on cluster performance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Execute day-to-day revenue management for an assigned property cluster. Maintains close, consistent communication with property General Managers and channel partners to ensure pricing and inventory decisions reflect current market conditions. Reports cluster performance on a regular cadence and flags emerging risks or opportunities to leadership.
● Daily Pricing & Rate Strategy: Execute daily pricing decisions and rate strategy for the assigned property cluster, adjusting in response to demand shifts and market movement.
● Channel & Distribution Monitoring: Monitor OTA channel performance, rate parity, and inventory allocation across all distribution channels for the assigned cluster.
● GM Communication: Conduct weekly revenue calls with General Managers of assigned properties to review performance, align on strategy, and address property-specific needs.
● Market & Demand Analysis: Analyze booking pace, pickup trends, and competitive set pricing for the assigned cluster to inform pricing and inventory decisions.
● Performance Reporting: Produce weekly revenue performance summaries for assigned properties, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
● Strategy Alignment: Coordinate with the VP of Commercial Strategy to ensure cluster-level pricing and strategy decisions remain aligned with broader portfolio direction.
● Budget & Forecasting Support: Support the annual budget process by providing RevPAR forecasts and supporting data for the assigned cluster.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
● Highly organized and able to track multiple tasks and properties at the same time.
● Manages time efficiently to meet established reporting deadlines and follow up with GMs and stakeholders.
● Keeps abreast of the latest industry products, services, information, and best practices.
● Possesses working knowledge of revenue management systems, OTA extranets, and channel management platforms.
● Able to forecast business on a short-term basis using booking pace, pickup, and comp set data.
● Strong analytical and Excel skills; comfortable working with large data sets.
● Clear, professional communication with property GMs and internal stakeholders.
● Detail-oriented with strong follow-through on recurring reporting deadlines.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
● Travel required: 0-10% for occasional property visits, training, or team meetings.
● Primarily office-based with standard business hours; flexibility expected during peak reporting and budget periods.
● Role is largely virtual/desk-based; in-person presence is not typically required for day-to-day execution.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hotel revenue management, distribution, or a related analytical role.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This is an individual contributor role with no direct supervisory responsibility. Partners closely with property General Managers on day-to-day pricing and strategy execution.
