The posting

BRC Group Inc. is a North American office furniture manufacturer specializing in flexible, high-quality case goods production. Working at the intersection of design, engineering, and manufacturing, the team develops product solutions that support a dynamic office furniture marketplace while maintaining a strong focus on quality, performance, and practical execution.

This is an opportunity to join a manufacturing environment where product development, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration all play an important role in bringing ideas from concept through production. The work calls for technical depth, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to supporting products throughout their lifecycle.

As Manufacturing Engineer, you will help support product solutions from inception through production, contributing to both new development and the refinement of existing products and processes. You will work closely with production, engineering, supply chain, and other cross-functional partners to help ensure product designs are manufacturable, efficient, and aligned with engineering, industry, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Support the manufacturing cycle for office furniture products from inception through production.
  • Process standard, special, repeat, and custom orders; verify order details and quantities against acknowledgements and purchase orders; and prepare drawings for customer sign-off and Project Matrix support.
  • Create custom hardware and installation drawings, CNC programs, and Excel and Smartsheet templates.
  • Manage material optimization, refine product designs and manufacturing processes, and identify continuous-improvement opportunities that increase efficiency and performance.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and cross-disciplinary teams to resolve product issues and transition new products into regular production.
  • Develop virtual models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and related software; support prototype and pre-production fabrication; interpret testing requirements and conduct preliminary compliance testing, including BIFMA standards.
  • Produce technical documentation such as assembly and part drawings, manuals, and specification sheets.
  • Develop improved processes and tools while remaining current on industry trends, materials, technologies, engineering practices, environmental issues, and sustainable design principles.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
