We are building a modern, cloud-native ecosystem powered by SAP S/4HANA, Snowflake, AWS, and next-generation AI capabilities.

We are seeking a strategic, hands-on leader to drive modern software engineering and enterprise integration. This is an exciting opportunity to establish a new software engineering capability at BBG, with significant ownership in shaping its operating model, technology stack, engineering standards, and delivery practices.

The Sr. Director will champion forward-deployed engineering, embedding engineers alongside business teams to rapidly deliver applications, AI-powered workflows, and automation. This leader will also drive AI-assisted development, leveraging AI coding agents and modern engineering practices to accelerate delivery and improve productivity.

In parallel, this role will lead BBG's enterprise integration ecosystem, including APIs, event-driven architecture, EDI, and AI agent integration, partnering across business and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions and measurable business outcomes.

Job Description:

Drive modernization, simplification, and reliability of BBG's integration landscape.
  • Build a Modern Software Engineering Capability: Establish BBG's new software engineering function, defining its operating model, organizational structure, technology stack, development frameworks, engineering standards, and delivery practices. Create a scalable foundation for rapid, AI-enabled software development.

Drive adoption of AI coding agents, agentic development workflows, and automated testing and code review, supported by standardized tooling, reusable components, and appropriate security and quality guardrails.
  • Enable AI Agents & Intelligent Automation: Establish integration patterns and governance that allow AI agents to securely interact with enterprise systems, APIs, and governed data. Partner with the AI Center of Excellence to operationalize agentic AI using technologies such as MCP, agent orchestration, and enterprise APIs.
  • Drive Engineering & Operational Excellence: Establish modern DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, observability, security-by-design, and continuous delivery. Ensure reliable, resilient integrations and applications through monitoring, SLA management, incident response, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and Lead a High-Performing Organization: Recruit, develop, and mentor integration engineers, software engineers, architects, and EDI specialists. Foster a culture of innovation, AI-enabled engineering, business partnership, and accountability while managing strategic technology partners.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
