We rely on our Floor Tech to assist in maintaining the facility's interior while ensuring that facility policy and standards are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and upholding the quality and standards of an organization
  • Strip old finishes, neutralize residues, apply sealants or protective coatings, buff/burnish to restore shine, and perform grout cleaning or concrete polishing
  • Check floors for damage, wear, or safety hazards
  • Safely use auto scrubbers, polishers, burnishers, buffers
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three (3) years related experience at a level necessary to accomplish the job
  • Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
  • Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information
  • Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively to residents and families and to work cooperatively with other employees at all levels
