In 2015, we pioneered a “moneyball for biotech” approach, pooling projects and promising early-stage research from academia together under one financial umbrella to reduce risk and unleash innovation. This model allows science and small teams of experts to lead the way. We build bridges to groundbreaking advancements in rare disease, and develop life-changing medicines for patients with unmet needs as fast as humanly possible.

Together we define white space, push boundaries, and empower people to solve problems. If you're someone who defies convention, join us and work alongside some of the most respected minds in the industry. Together, we'll ask "why not?" and help reengineer the future of biopharma. At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work.

What You’ll Do

You will report to the Director, Medical Excellence & Operations, International, and work closely with International Medical Affairs, Field Medical, Clinical Development, Commercial, Legal and Regulatory colleagues to strengthen medical excellence across BridgeBio. Your primary purpose will be to lead medical excellence initiatives across the Medical Affairs organization, such as scientific communications, field medical, training and other medical excellence priorities as the business evolves. This role requires effective collaboration with Medical Directors, cross-functional colleagues and external experts to ensure scientifically rigorous, consistent and compliant communications and practices. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in scientific/medical communications with strong project management experience and stakeholder management skills, and thrives on delivering priorities in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of scientific communication plans from an international perspective (i.e., core scientific narratives, key messages and Q&A documents), in close collaboration with Medical Directors and cross-functional brand teams
  • Develop high-quality scientific and medical education content for congresses, symposia, advisory boards, internal training and other settings, ensuring alignment with the medical strategy
  • Partner with Legal, Regulatory and Medical reviewers to ensure all scientific and medical communications are accurate, balanced and compliant, in line with the Medical, Legal and Regulatory (MLR) review process
  • Support the design and delivery of onboarding, training and continuous learning programs for Medical Affairs, including building scientific and therapeutic area capability across the organization
  • Manage relationships with medical communications agencies, medical writers and other vendors to ensure high-quality, on-time, on-budget deliverables
  • Support the review, evaluation and compliant administration of independent medical education grants, scientific sponsorships and related third-party contracting, partnering with Legal, Compliance and Finance to ensure appropriate governance and documentation
  • Contribute to the development of standards, processes, tools and best practices that elevate medical excellence across areas such as Field Medical, insights generation & analysis, key performance indicators, training and other Medical Affairs priorities as business needs evolve

Where You’ll Work

  • This is an office role and requires in-office collaboration 2-3 days per week in our Zug office
  • No relocation is offered
  • Travel (approximately 10-20%) may be required to support scientific congresses, advisory boards, training sessions and internal meetings

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related scientific discipline is required; an advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or MSc) is strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of Medical Affairs experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, in one or more of the following areas: scientific/medical communications, field medical, medical training, or related medical excellence functions
  • Strong scientific writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate complex clinical and scientific data into clear, accurate, audience-appropriate materials
  • Demonstrated experience developing scientific platforms, key messages, and training or capability-building programs in partnership with cross-functional medical and clinical teams
  • Experience managing external vendors/agencies and navigating MLR review processes; familiarity with grants, sponsorships, or contracting processes is an advantage
  • Versatile and adaptable, able to shift between medical excellence priorities as business needs evolve
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills; experience in rare disease is an advantage
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
