The posting

Als Press Officer sta je mee in voor de zichtbaarheid van de standpunten en expertise van onze klant in de media. Je werkt nauw samen met de Chief Press Officer en het communicatieteam en fungeert als schakel tussen journalisten, directie en interne experten.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Je onderhoudt contacten met een breed netwerk van journalisten en focust je voornamelijk op de relaties met Franstalige media en journalisten, in nauwe samenwerking met de Chief Press Officer.
  • Je werkt samen met collega's binnen de hele organisatie en rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de Chief Press Officer.
  • Je brengt journalisten in contact met de directie en experten van het VBO en volgt alle mediacontacten zorgvuldig op.
  • Je schrijft persberichten en opiniestukken op basis van input van de directie en/of interne experten, en dit in nauwe afstemming met de Chief Press Officer.
  • Je werkt mee aan de ontwikkeling en uitvoering van persacties (zoals persconferenties, mediacontacten, persberichten en opiniestukken) en doet zowel proactief als reactief voorstellen voor tussenkomsten in de pers en andere media.
  • In samenwerking met het communicatieteam vertaal je persacties naar een gerichte aanpak op sociale media.
  • Je volgt de persmonitoring (kranten, televisie, magazines, radio en sociale media) op en rapporteert hierover intern.

Jouw profiel

  • Je hebt een sterke interesse in de ondernemingswereld, sociaal‑economische thema's en de politieke actualiteit.
  • Je beschikt over uitstekende redactionele en communicatieve vaardigheden en kan complexe onderwerpen helder vertalen naar persberichten en teksten.
  • Je bent flexibel, stressbestendig en kan vlot prioriteiten stellen en schakelen tussen dossiers.
  • Je bent tweetalig Frans/Nederlands en hebt een goede kennis van het Engels; ervaring met sociale media (X, LinkedIn, Instagram) is een must.
  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma (bij voorkeur in journalistiek, communicatie, economie, rechten of politieke wetenschappen) en bent een georganiseerde teamspeler.
