Overview As a Senior CX/UX Designer, you'll turn complex user needs into clear, usable solutions for tax and accounting professionals. You'll own design work within a product area, using existing research, UX methods, and AI tools to explore ideas, build prototypes, and improve the experience.

You'll partner with Product and Engineering to shape solutions, test them with users, and stay involved through implementation. This role calls for strong design craft, independent judgment, and the ability to use new tools thoughtfully while staying accountable for the quality of your work.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now or in the future.

Required Qualifications

  • UX design: Strong skills in information architecture, interaction design, and visual design, with a portfolio that explains your decisions and shows their impact on users.
  • Prototyping and AI tools: Practical experience using UX and AI tools to explore alternatives and create interactive prototypes, including code-based prototypes where useful.
  • Usability testing: Ability to plan and conduct usability tests, identify where users struggle, and turn findings into design improvements. Apply existing user research to inform solutions.
  • Design judgment: Ability to weigh user needs, business goals, and technical constraints, and explain the tradeoffs behind your recommendations.
  • Design systems and accessibility: Experience applying and contributing to shared design patterns and designing accessible experiences.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work independently within a PM, UX, and Engineering partnership and communicate decisions clearly.
  • Outcome measurement: Ability to use customer feedback and product data to assess whether a solution helps users complete their work.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the design of complex workflows within a product area, clarifying the user problem and intended outcome with Product and Engineering.
  • Use existing research and domain knowledge to develop solutions that fit how tax and accounting professionals actually work.
  • Explore multiple concepts before committing to a direction. Choose the UX methods and tools that fit the problem.
  • Use AI to support synthesis, exploration, and prototyping. Verify outputs against source evidence and apply your own UX judgment.
  • Create user flows, interaction designs, and prototypes with the detail needed to test ideas and support implementation.
  • Plan and conduct usability tests of concepts and prototypes, refine solutions based on what you observe, and partner with UX researchers when broader questions need investigation.
  • Apply accessible design patterns, contribute improvements to the design system, and work with Engineering to preserve quality through implementation.
  • Assess results with Product and Engineering using measures such as task completion, time spent, and errors. Iterate based on what users do and what the evidence shows.
  • Share your rationale, contribute to critiques, and mentor junior UX colleagues.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
