📍 Location: Midlands (Remote with travel, monthly visit to York HQ) 💷 Salary: From £47,000 per year

We’re looking for an Operations Manager who shares our commitment to excellence and goes the extra mile to ensure teams and sites set the industry standard.

📝 About the Role

This is a multi-site role overseeing security and cleaning services for a wide portfolio of blue-chip clients in financial services, distribution, and manufacturing across the Midlands. and further afield.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • 👥 Leadership & Service Delivery – Ensuring high standards in manned security and cleaning, under SIA Approved Contractor Scheme standards.
  • 🤝 Client & Team Management – Building strong client relationships through site visits, meetings, and staff training.
  • 📅 Scheduling & Compliance – Managing rostering (via Timegate), performance, motivation, and compliance.
  • 💻 Technology & Reporting – Using advanced systems for reporting, payroll, and scheduling.

Above all, you’ll ensure the retention and development of your client base.

✅ Requirements

  • 🎓 Management experience in security and/or cleaning (essential)
  • 🛡️ Front-line SIA Licence (essential)
  • 💬 Strong leadership and communication skills
  • 💻 High IT literacy and confidence using advanced systems
  • 🚗 Full UK driving licence and own car
  • 🏢 Willingness to travel to York HQ at least once a month
