Full-Time Dining Room Lead

$22/hr-$25/hr-based on exp

Broadmead Community | Cockeysville, MD

Do you have a passion for hospitality, leadership, and creating exceptional dining experiences? Broadmead is seeking a Dining Room Lead/Trainer to help ensure our residents receive outstanding service in our upscale dining venues, Holly Terrace and Magnolia Room.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys mentoring team members, leading by example, and creating a welcoming atmosphere where residents and guests feel valued.

What You'll Do

As a Dining Room Lead/Trainer, you will:

  • Lead and support dining room staff to ensure exceptional resident and guest experiences
  • Train, coach, and mentor new servers while reinforcing service standards across the team
  • Evaluate employee progress during training and identify opportunities for additional development
  • Coordinate daily dining room operations, seating arrangements, and service flow
  • Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and outstanding customer service
  • Communicate effectively with culinary and production staff to ensure seamless service
  • Address resident and guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Promote a positive team culture while supporting employee accountability and performance
  • Assist with special events, holiday decorations, and community celebrations
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, sanitation, and departmental procedures
  • Recognize and accommodate residents' dietary needs, allergies, and special meal requests
  • Support dining room operations during busy periods and unusual circumstances

What We're Looking For

  • Previous restaurant, hospitality, senior living, or dining room experience preferred
  • Leadership, training, or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with team members of all ages and backgrounds
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to residents, guests, and coworkers
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
