At Bromford Flagship LiveWest, we're committed to helping people thrive. As a Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring our repairs and maintenance services run efficiently, helping customers receive the support they need when they need it most.

Working as part of a busy and supportive team, you'll coordinate repair appointments, schedule works for our operatives and ensure customer requests are handled promptly and effectively. Your organisation, communication skills and customer-focused approach will help deliver an outstanding experience for our tenants while supporting the smooth operation of our repairs service.

Location: Bury St Edmunds

Hours: Full Time - 40 hpw - Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • scheduling repair and maintenance appointments efficiently.
  • managing and allocating damp and mould cases to operatives promptly.
  • coordinating more complex repair works and ensuring jobs are planned effectively.
  • providing excellent customer service through telephone and written communication.
  • handling tenant complaints and ensuring they are resolved within agreed timescales.
  • maintaining accurate records across operational systems to support high-quality data and reporting.
  • working to priorities, deadlines and performance goals to help continuously improve service delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We're looking for someone who is:

  • highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • confident to challenge, question and suggest improvements.
  • a strong team player with excellent listening and communication skills.
  • experienced in delivering great customer service, particularly over the telephone.
  • comfortable using computers and a range of software systems.
  • educated to GCSE level (or equivalent).

Desirable Experience

  • Experience using operational digital systems, including work scheduling systems.
  • Previous experience in repairs, maintenance, housing, customer service or planning environments.
