The Role

Our client, an established A1 Main Contractor in Singapore, is looking for an experienced Architectural Manager to oversee architectural works, design coordination and technical matters for building construction projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all architectural works from design coordination through construction and project completion.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, clients, subcontractors and relevant authorities on architectural matters.
  • Review architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings and material submissions.
  • Ensure architectural works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor site progress and coordinate with project and site teams to resolve architectural and construction-related issues.
  • Manage architectural submissions, approvals and inspections with relevant authorities.
  • Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E and other building services disciplines.
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure workmanship meets the required standards.
  • Identify and resolve design discrepancies, technical issues and construction interface problems.
  • Ensure timely completion of architectural works in accordance with the project schedule.

Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Architectural Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in building construction.
  • Previous experience with established main contractors in Singapore will be preferred.
  • Strong experience in architectural coordination, site supervision and construction management.
  • Familiar with architectural drawings, specifications, material submissions and authority requirements.
