PURPOSE Own the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of deployments across business, technology, and operational teams. The Deployment Manager ensures each release is ready to deploy, dependencies and risks are understood, and all required activities are coordinated through go-live and stabilization.   Key Responsibilities

Own the integrated deployment plan across business and technology workstreams. Drive deployment readiness across environments, data, integrations, testing, training, communications, cutover, and support. Coordinate dependencies across application teams, infrastructure, vendors, business teams, and other programs. Establish and manage deployment milestones, entry/exit criteria, and readiness checkpoints. Facilitate deployment readiness reviews and provide a clear view of risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions. Own the cutover plan, including sequencing, ownership, timing, dependencies, contingency planning, and command-center readiness. Ensure open defects, technical issues, and operational risks are understood and appropriately incorporated into deployment decisions. Coordinate Go/No-Go preparation and ensure decision-makers have a concise, fact-based readiness view. Drive resolution and escalation of deployment blockers. Coordinate go-live execution and transition into hypercare/stabilization. Capture lessons learned and continuously improve the deployment approach across releases.

  Success Measures

Deployment plans are integrated, current, and understood across workstreams. Critical dependencies and risks are identified early and actively managed. Readiness is transparent ahead of Go/No-Go decisions. Cutover activities have clear owners, timing, and dependencies. Deployments move into production with appropriate business and technical readiness. Issues during go-live and stabilization are rapidly coordinated and resolved.

Experience / Capabilities

Strong experience managing complex enterprise deployments or releases. Demonstrated ability to coordinate across business and technical teams. Strong integrated planning, dependency management, risk management, and executive communication skills. Experience with cutover, release readiness, Go/No-Go governance, and production stabilization. Comfortable operating across multiple workstreams without replacing the accountability of individual workstream owners. Strong facilitation skills with the ability to drive decisions and escalate effectively.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   Scope of role:

Project: Typically manages medium to large projects and/ or part of programs.

  The primary focus of each role can be different depending on the role but may include some combination of each of the responsibilities outlined below. Team members should work with leadership to define the "composition" of their specific role to drive impact and generate outcomes. Career progression does not require demonstration of all accountabilities below.   Delivery and Execution:

Coordinates and executes team activities following appropriate implementation plans. This may include scope, goals, scheduling, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management.

  Planning and Alignment:

Identifies budget and resource requirements. Develops plans and timelines and ensures all team members understand overall objectives of the work. Executes on plans to improve productivity, contain cost, and improve performance.

  Status Updates and Progress:

Monitors work progress based on estimated time to complete delegated deliverables. Assesses bottlenecks in work processes and communicates issues to senior management.

  Collaboration:

Works with all required functions and groups to effectively plan and execute defined assignments, builds, and maintains relationships.

  Change Management:

Collates input on impact of change to develop change strategy and plan. Prepares communications on change impact.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES   This job has no supervisory responsibilities.       MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. 2+ years relevant work experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Certification
