  • Provide management with insight into revenue, gross margin, labor, inventory, expenses, and other financial drivers.
  • Support the Controller and CFO during audits and ensure all documentation is accurate and audit-ready.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and capital expenditure analysis.
  • Oversee inventory and cost-accounting activities, including costing, reserves, variances, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and other transaction-processing activities.
  • Maintain effective internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Support audits, tax compliance, financial-system improvements, and ERP integration initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and automate accounting processes.
  • Collaborate with the broader Burnout Brands finance team on reporting and special projects.
  • Complete other accounting and finance responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA designation or active progress toward a CPA designation is preferred.
  • Five or more years of progressive accounting experience, including experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and general-ledger accounting.
  • Previous experience in a senior accountant, assistant controller, plant accountant, or similar role is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, automotive, distribution, or e-commerce business is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing financial processes.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
  • Experience working with ERP and financial-reporting systems; experience with Infor SyteLine is an asset.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
