Buying & Merchandising Executive

📍 Location: Changi Airport Terminal 3 (Airport Office) 💰 Salary: SGD $2,800 – $3,200 per month

🎓 Candidates with no experience, training provided.

Roles & Responsibilities • Manage product merchandising to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and company standards. • Support the development and execution of category strategies, product assortment and merchandising plans. • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, customer preferences and product performance. • Assist in developing an optimal product mix that meets customer demands and strengthens brand positioning. • Support product pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness and profitability.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, brand principals and internal stakeholders. • Liaise with overseas brand principals on product-related matters, merchandising and promotional activities. • Coordinate product launches, promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives to ensure timely execution. • Work closely with sales and operations teams to identify market opportunities and customer trends.

Inventory, Sales Analysis & Reporting • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate product availability to support sales requirements. • Analyse sales performance, product movement and merchandising effectiveness. • Prepare regular sales reports, performance analysis and market updates for management. • Maintain accurate sales activity records and follow up on relevant operational matters. • Perform other duties assigned by management.

Must-Have Requirements • Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related discipline. • Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency is mandatory. Candidates must provide a self-rating of their Excel skills. • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills to communicate and negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers. • Presentable, professional and pleasant personality, as the role involves interacting with overseas brand principals and representing Lotte Travel Retail. • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements • Previous buying, merchandising, category management or retail experience is advantageous but not compulsory. • Fresh graduates with a positive attitude, strong learning ability and willingness to undergo training are encouraged to apply. • Detail-oriented, proactive and capable of managing multiple responsibilities.
