Job Description

Position Overview

The Program Coordinator for LSB Experiential Learning Initiatives coordinates the day-to-day administration and execution of experiential learning programs and projects across the Lacy School of Business. Working collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners, this position manages multiple projects and competing priorities to ensure successful program operations and outcomes. The role requires independent judgment, initiative, and problem-solving to plan, organize, and execute projects, often with general direction from faculty and program leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Program Coordination: Coordinate the planning and execution of LSB experiential learning initiatives, including, but not limited to, Real Business Experience, ETA Conference, Angel Ventures, the Student Run Captive Insurance Agency, Analytics Challenges, and Butler Entrepreneurship programming. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to support program goals, logistics, and operational needs.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects and competing priorities across experiential learning initiatives, often working independently with general direction from faculty and program leadership. Develop project plans, establish timelines, coordinate resources, track progress and deliverables, and proactively address challenges to ensure successful and timely completion. Exercise independent judgment in determining appropriate processes and next steps while maintaining communication with stakeholders and escalating matters requiring leadership decisions.
  • Student Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for students participating in LSB experiential learning initiatives, providing guidance and addressing program-related inquiries. Coordinate application processes, required filings, documentation, and participant records. Organize orientation sessions and post-program debriefs to support student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Program Operations and Financial Coordination: Coordinate financial and administrative processes for experiential learning initiatives, including budget tracking, expense monitoring, purchasing, payment processing, and related documentation. Work with appropriate LSB personnel to ensure expenditures are accurately tracked and aligned with approved program budgets. Maintain accurate program records, databases, and documentation, and prepare and disseminate program materials, schedules, and surveys.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as a liaison with industry partners, alumni, and community organizations involved in experiential learning initiatives. Coordinate program-related communications and logistics with external partners and support outreach and partnership development efforts. Facilitate communication and reporting among external stakeholders, faculty/program leadership, and LSB leadership.
  • Assessment and Continuous Improvement: Collect, organize, and analyze feedback from students, faculty, and external partners to assess experiential learning initiatives and identify opportunities for improvement. Prepare reports, presentations, surveys, and data summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in program administration, project coordination, higher education, or a related field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software, such as Monday.com or comparable platforms.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, take initiative, and collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, students, and external partners.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
