Byte-Code is a dynamic and innovative e-commerce company specializing in creating exceptional online shopping experiences. We are committed to delivering outstanding service and cutting-edge solutions to our diverse clientele. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented Senior Shopify Developer with strong skills on theme and app development.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Shopify’s platform, and the ability to translate fully specified designs into functional and performant e-commerce sites.

Role and Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will:

  • Develop, customize, and implement high-quality Shopify themes from initial concept to final launch, using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
  • Build advanced Shopify features using Storefront API, Admin API, and custom apps
  • Collaborate with our design team to ensure that the website's design is technically feasible and to identify the best approach for its implementation.
  • Develop backend integrations (ERP, CRM, PIM, payments, logistics, marketing tools)
  • Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform, and mobile compatibility.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot any issues related to Shopify theme development.
  • Customize existing themes

Required Skills & Experience

  • Shopify 4+ years of experience with Shopify / Shopify Plus Strong knowledge of Liquid, Shopify CLI, theme architecture, Hydrogen / Storefront API Experience building custom Shopify apps
  • Frontend HTML5, CSS3, SCSS/Tailwind JavaScript (ES6+), React Performance optimization (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse)
  • Backend Experience with Node.js, PHP, Ruby, or similar backend stacks REST and GraphQL APIs Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) Experience integrating third-party services (payments, ERP, CRM, marketing tools)
  • Dev & Tooling Git, CI/CD workflows (GitHub/GitLab) Docker (nice to have) Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Vercel, Netlify)
