Data Center Business Development and Commercial Intern (Data Center Development) - 2027 Start
About the Team ByteDance Data Center Development team is responsible for building Data Center and Network in the Asia Pacific region. Our work involves, but not limiting to, data center innovation, implementing advanced technologies and renewable energy to achieve carbon-neutrality, rapid project delivery, capacity planning, process and risk control, cost management, etc. Our objective is to provide ByteDance with efficient Data Center infrastructure services to support our business growth.
We are looking for talented individuals to join us for an internship. Our internship program offers students hands-on experience, industry exposure, and opportunities to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges while building a strong foundation for personal and professional growth. Interns will gain practical experience, explore potential career paths, and participate in social events, learning programs, and development workshops alongside industry professionals. Key responsibilities: - Work with data center delivery and technical teams to provide commercial support for ongoing projects, including assessing and administering change requests and variation orders. - Review, update, and develop regional service framework agreements with providers. Thereafter, collaborate with internal process and platform teams to incorporate these into the service menu for automatic service ordering and processing by internal teams. - Support commercial managers in land, power, water, and permitting due diligence through desktop studies. - Work together with commercial managers and internal process and platform teams to organize the annual business review.
Minimum Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Degree/Master in Business, Finance, Economics or any Engineering discipline; - Understanding of procurement systems and processes, with a strong sense of cost control. - Excellent communication skills - Have experience in project management
Preferred Qualifications - Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and participate in cross-functional collaborations. - Preferred to have interest and/or basic knowledge of Data Center
