Position Start Date: January 6, 2027
Required Degree:
MS in Physics, or closely related field. PhD preferred.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
College-level teaching experience in physics or a related field preferred. Experience teaching introductory physics, supporting student learning, and effectively communicating scientific and mathematical concepts is highly desirable.
Duties/Expectations:
Teach the following courses:
- PHSCS 105: General Physics 1
- PHSCS 106: General Physics 2
- PHY S 100: Physical Science
Provides instruction for assigned introductory physics and physical science courses. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering course content, facilitating student learning, assessing and grading student work, maintaining course records, and providing academic support. Ensures instruction aligns with established curriculum, learning outcomes, and departmental standards.
