Position Summary Position Title: AZ Driver Location (Start Point): Ottawa, ON Delivery Area: Local Employment Type: Part-Time Shift Schedule: Tuesday- Thursday Start Time: 4:00am-7:00am We are seeking dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented drivers to join our growing transportation team. This role is ideal for professionals who take pride in their work, consistently deliver high-quality service, and can operate safely and professionally in a fast-paced environment while representing the company. Safely operate company vehicles to transport freight across local routes. Complete deliveries and pickups to customer locations within the assigned region in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Operate tractor-trailer equipment in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections of the vehicle, including checking tires, brakes, lights, and cargo securement; promptly report any issues to the maintenance department for timely repairs. Accurately complete all required documentation, including e-logs, inspection reports, delivery paperwork, and incident reports Maintain compliance with hours-of-service regulations, safety policies, and company procedures Maintain flexibility to meet operational and customer demands, including variable schedules, overtime, weekends, or overnight runs as required

Core Requirements

Valid AZ driver's license. Bondable and legally eligible to work in Canada Clean CVOR and driver’s abstract Verifiable recent commercial driving experience. Strong understanding of road safety regulations, hours of service, and load securement Experience operating commercial vehicles in winter driving conditions Ability to accurately complete eLogs, vehicle inspection reports, and delivery documentation Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as required Strong customer service and communication skills with a professional, safety-focused approach

Role-Specific Requirements

Minimum 1-5 year of verifiable Class 1 / AZ driving experience Strong knowledge of Ottawa and surrounding areas Ability to safely perform hand-bombing, including manual loading and unloading of freight, as required
