| Senior Clinical Supply Chain Analyst (CSCA)

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, governance, and continuous improvement of Master Data within the DDMRP supply chain planning system. This includes ownership of the master data file and management of item master data, supplier parameters, policy settings, and system mappings to support reliable planning and replenishment.

As a DDMRP champion, the Snr. CSCA will drive system discipline, ensure adherence to SOPs, monitor system usage, and resolve data and process issues impacting forecasting and inventory performance.

A strong focus will be placed on data analytics, including KPI monitoring, buffer and demand signal analysis, and validation of system recommendations against actual ordering behaviour to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

The Snr. CSCA will also provide end-user support and training, while working closely with key stakeholders to strengthen governance and enhance overall system performance.

What you will be doing:

DDMRP Governance & Planning Control

  • Review daily replenishment recommendations generated by the system and follow up on exceptions.
  • Perform monthly review of buffer levels, ADU, lead times, and variability settings.
  • Track manual overrides to system proposals and document reasons.
  • Identify items repeatedly in red zone and escalate corrective actions.
  • Prepare monthly DDMRP governance review with key findings and recommended actions.
  • Ensure users follow approved replenishment process and escalation rules.
  • Evaluate and recommend strategic decoupling points in the supply chain using DDI methodology.

New Item Creation & Master Data Control

  • Review and validate all requests for new item codes before creation.
  • Create new items in the system with accurate fields (description, category, UOM, VAT, supplier, costing).
  • Prevent duplicate item creation prior to activation.
  • Maintain item naming conventions and coding standards.
  • Update supplier linkage, pack conversions, and replenishment parameters.
  • Coordinate inactivation of obsolete or non-moving items after approval.
  • Maintain logs of item creations, amendments, and deactivations; ensure master data files are updated.
  • Lead item rationalisation exercises to reduce SKU proliferation and merge near-duplicates.

Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting

  • Issue weekly dashboard (stock turns, fill rate, stockouts, expiry risks).
  • Analyse monthly slow-moving and dead stock with recommendations.
  • Track supplier performance (lead time, service level, delivery reliability).
  • Monitor purchase price changes and highlight variances.
  • Analyse consumption trends and identify abnormal usage.
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis for management decision-making.
  • Maintain and improve automated reporting.

Inventory Risk Management

  • Maintain weekly watchlist of critical clinical items at risk.
  • Escalate items below minimum safe levels with action plans.
  • Track single-source items and propose mitigation actions.
  • Monitor expiry risks and coordinate usage or transfers.
  • Support contingency planning for disruptions or demand spikes.

Clinical & Formulary Coordination

  • Coordinate with clinical committees and pharmacy on formulary changes.
  • Manage product substitutions and therapeutic equivalents.
  • Support clinical standardisation to reduce unnecessary product variants.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Reconcile inventory reports with Finance.
  • Work with clinical users to standardise products and reduce SKUs.
  • Support Procurement with demand analysis.
  • Coordinate with IT/BI for system and dashboard improvements.
  • Provide user training on processes and reporting tools.

KPI Ownership

Accountable for reporting and improving:

  • % active item master accuracy

  • Fill rate %
  • Stockout incidents
  • Expiry losses

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics/Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Data Analytics and inventory management
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Exposure to DDMRP or demand planning environments is an advantage
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting, dashboards)
  • Strong ability to analyse KPIs and produce performance reports
  • Good understanding of data structures and basic analytics, including SQL for data extraction and analysis
  • Experience in data cleaning, validation, and accuracy control
  • Familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualisation tools
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and meaningful reports
  • Strong learning agility with a proactive, continuous improvement mindset
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities
  • Effective organisational and planning skills, with the ability to meet deadlines under pressure

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
